My great-grandfather ( on the picture in the middle ) was son of the King of Gifu province.
KinueMon was born in 1870 and was the only son of a king – Torio, from the province of Gifu. Kinue Mon was born at the time of the Emperor Meiji's revolution and was therefore, shortly after birth, entrusted for security reasons to the care of the wellknown Itahashi wine family, which produced SAKE in Gifu. When my great-greatgrandfather Kinue Mon was 8 years old, he began his studies in a Buddhist monastery. After returning from the monastery, he opened his own company, which produced and supplied food and semi-finished products. Although he tried to assert himself in the preparation and delivery of food, his customers were more interested in his important contacts and asked him for help in arranging marriages and premarital counseling for their able-bodied children. Therefore, Kinue Mon moved to Nagoya City, where he opened the first premarital and marriage counseling center. He died at the age of 70 as a well-known figure in social life.
RYU KITCHI ITAHASHI was the only son of KinueMon. Ryu Kitchi - my great-grandfather, was born in 1899. He made original laces for kimonos and kimono shoes. In 1931, when Ryu Kitchi was 41, he married a young, only 18-year-old Hujie. They had three sons and two girls together. Unfortunately, two boys died at the age of about 3 to 4 years of childhood diseases. Ryu Kitchi also died quickly as a 59-year-old pneumonia. At that time, he was survived by his wife and three children - Yuriko Itahashi born on December 23, 1931, who visited Slovakia at the age of 74, Tamiko Itahashi born in 1940, who studied electrical engineering as an adult, and Ryuzo Itahashi - the youngest boy who survived - born June 5, 1942.
RYUZO ITAHASHI - my grandfather worked and lived his whole life in Nagoya. He worked as a manager and later as the CEO of a golf resort. Because he was leading the Japanese top Golf resort during the strongest economic expansion of Japan, he met many interesting people and could provide good care of his family. He married Etsuko, who came to Nagoya just for short internship job from distant city of Niigata but they fell in love instantly. They got married just in 3 months and had two children together, a girl Yuka and a boy Yoshitake. Yuka got married to Canadian boy and Yoshitake to European girl, so both children left Japan which was very unusual situation for traditional Japanese family. Ryuzo underwent severe heart surgery in the 1960s and has not been able to travel since. If I want to see him, I must go to him.
At the age of 27 my mom overcome a mild stroke and after two years of treatment she was recommended to have a baby. It is said that pregnancy helps to ease even the greatest sickness, as the nature arranged it like that. When she was 30 years old I was born, and her health condition improved significantly and that was my first amazing mission. In two years, my brother NARUOMI was born, whom I love so much , even though we fight with each other sometimes for silly reasons :-)

My father YOSHITAKE ITAHASHI was born in 1974 in year of Tiger. He studied at the University in Japan and in USA and is amazing in Japanese art of Caligraphy. When he was little like me, he also learned to calculate very fast in his mind due to Japanese mathematical tables - Soroban. When he was child he liked running, tennis, swimming and playing soccer, which are the same sports I love to play, when I get a chance with my friends. Yoshitake asked my mother to marry him only 3 days after they met and 5 months later in September 2000 they got married. Because my mother behaves like a European and always does things her way and does not follow strict Japanese order, my dad decided it would be better if we lived in Europe, where people can do things their way. Dad said that this is a sacrifice to his lifelong love and also by taking her out of Japan that he helped to Japanese culture to remain as it is, as well :-)

My brother Naruomi is amazing artist and has very pure heart. From the time he was 3 years old, he was giving all his Christmas money to me, so that I can buy big LEGO sets, from which I could build Rockets and Space Stations.
Because he had no money, after giving all to me, he did not have many toys to play with, and so he painted and drew a lot with his pencils and paper. If one day, I will ever launch a rocket, it is because of his trust in me, that I really need those LEGO parts for various Rocket structures. I would like him to design a logo on our rocket, as it will be as mine as his.
And from now on, our life starts.
